AI rumours flying, but Prophet DM Siame says his Music is still 100% human.

Gospel musician Prophet DM Siame has finally addressed the growing claims that his music is fully created by artificial intelligence, insisting that critics have mistaken modern technology for a lack of talent.

Speaking on Sun FM, the Burning Bush hitmaker made it clear that no robot is hiding in the studio singing on his behalf and that his songs are not entirely AI-generated. “My music is not 100 percent AI,” he said. “The only thing that is enhanced is my voice.”

Siame explained that while he embraces technology, he has never replaced his creativity with artificial intelligence. Instead, he uses a custom-made system known as AG Studio, which helps refine, balance, and improve the quality of vocals — much like traditional studio processing methods producers have relied on for years.

He revealed that he once experimented with allowing AI to handle most of the work, but the results quickly convinced him that technology has limits.

“When I tried generating music without my own lyrics, it didn’t make sense. The sound had waves and the beat wasn’t sitting properly,” he said. “That’s when I realised this thing cannot work without human creativity.”

According to the gospel singer, every track begins with his own lyrics and recorded vocals before any enhancement is applied. “The only stage where AI comes in is mixing, balancing, and improving the sound,” he explained. “Creativity must always come from a human being.”

Siame also said he is prepared to demonstrate his entire process to anyone who doubts him. “If you bring a laptop here, I can show you. We record the voice, enhance it, even adjust the tone — but it remains my voice,” he stressed.

Beyond defending his work, the clergyman said his mission is to empower Zambian musicians to embrace modern production tools without losing their originality. “Technology is not the enemy if it is used correctly,” he said. “My joy is serving God and helping others move forward. AI can assist, but it can never replace the human heart behind the music.”
