P Jr Umuselemani recently released the music video for his new single “Ghetto Hustler“.
A true Zambia hustler is someone who will do whatever it takes to get what they want. The strength of a hustler’s ambition often surpasses that of their peers, and as such, they are often viewed as living in the “ghetto”. The term “ghetto hustler”, or simply “ghetto hustle” can be used in a variety of contexts – from referencing one’s entrepreneurial endeavors to one’s generally troubled lifestyle.In the movie “Gladiator”, Maximus, the general of Marcus Aurelius’ army, explains that an emperor is nothing but a man with a sword who can hire an army. Hustlers are people who can do what other people cannot do. The true hustler is someone who will take risks for their dreams and take opportunities when others would not dare to step out of their comfort zone.`
