NASTY C’S INTERVIEW ON ZAMBIAN ARTISTS

Nasty C is a South African award winning rapper, Tall Racks Records CEO and Def jam signee who has been in Zambia on five occasions, first in 2016 at the Blackout party at Chez Ntemba VIP club in Lusaka were he performed alongside Slapdee, Urban Hype, Cleo Ice Queen and Muko.

The second time the rapper was in the country was in March 2018 at the castle Lite unlock concert at Levy mall were he shared the stage with local artists Krytic, Chef 187, Urban Hype, Dj Vjeezy and Dj Kuks .

In 2019 , Nasty C was back in the country at Amigos event at the Polo Arena in Lusaka as a headliner and other performances at this event were Zimbabwe’s Amara Brown and our very own Bobby East,The FAKE, Muko & Ikko Ace and many more.

October 2021, Nasty C was in Zambia at the Chivas XV nights at Grand daddy’s in Lusaka which featured Wezi and Marky 2. Finally in March 2022, the rapper was back in Zambia at the Music Club in Lusaka were he Performed alongside Zambian artists namely Jay Trigga, Mic Burna, Shadaya, B’Chillz and Marky 2.

At the Music club, the South African rapper had a backstage interview with Edina the people’s Bea were he was given some Zambian artists names and asked if he knew them. Some of the artists names Nasty c was given include Marky 2 , Towera Kaira, Natasha Chansa and Cleo Ice Queen. Unfortunately the only artist the rapper admitted to know was Cleo Ice Queen.

A short clip of the interview was shared on our Facebook page ( Zambian Music blog ) . Zambian Music fans had mixed opinions concerning his response. One of the comments on the post that got people’s attention was by Alpha Entertainment rapper Chef 187. The rappers comment was, “ U missed out on an opportunity to tell him we have Nasty D and his career is as old as he is.”

What do you make of Nasty C’s response after coming to Zambia for five times and even sharing the stage with Marky 2 not once but twice?
