Cherise Makubale also known as Cherry was the first Zambian to feature and emerge victorious at the first season of the Big brother Africa. Cherise was only 24 years old when she was announced the winner of the competition (Big Brother Africa Season 1) in Randburg South Africa.
This victory changed the course of her entire life. The only motive Cherry had was to win the money and build her family a house which she did and used the remaining cheddar to take herself to tertiary school.
Now Cherise has a foundation which she named Cherise Makubale foundation (CMF), she is also the matron for the Disabled people Group Resource center in Chipata Eastern province. In addition she is sponsoring children at Nhekarlo Community school in Ndola.
