Mampi was made a full-fledged Zambian music icon in 2005 after the release of her debut album called Maloza and later rose to super-stardom to which she exhibited a certain star quality which has lived in her till this day. She has yet continued to demonstrate hit potential in subsequent years.
Till this day, Mampi has won 12 awards out of 18 Nominations, including 2 Kora Awards nominations and 1 AFRIMMA award nomination and has performed in over 25 Countries around the world and undoubtedly one of the best Zambian female performers.
Come 2016, Mampi rolled out, “Rollercoaster”, a unique dance packed tune produced entirely by Jazzy Boy and written by the Queen Diva herself. The song caught fire almost immediately, by dominating radio charts and clubs. Earlier in 2017, Mampi re-united with super producer – Jazzy Boy for a collaborative effort with Chef 187 entitled “Watch Your Back”.
Mampi closed out her 2017 with a brand new visual for a single entitled “Nyula Yako” – A dance hall inspired melody produced by Magician alongside James Sakala who added some flavors with the Guitar. Mampi wrote the song herself and it happens to lead the way to her forthcoming album to be called “Nyula Yako”.

She has toured the United States back and fourth over the past years and a UK tour with shows in Leicester, Manchester, London and more.
