After days of speculation and rising fan anticipation, Yo Maps’ international manager, DJ Kandeke, has confirmed what fans have been hoping for a collaboration between Zambia’s leading artist Yo Maps and Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz is officially in the works.
Taking to social media, DJ Kandeke shared an emotional and affirming message with fans, thanking them for their support and confirming that talks with Diamond Platnumz’s team had already been in motion even before the recent private wedding performance in Lusaka.
“Our voices have been heard loud and clear, your wish is our command! Many of you have been asking about a possible collaboration… and everything is now set in motion,” DJ Kandeke wrote. He continued by quoting scripture:“As the Bible says, there’s a time for everything.”
This comes after both Yo Maps and Diamond Platnumz were seen performing at the same private wedding, setting social media ablaze with talk of a potential musical partnership. Fans could hardly contain their excitement as videos showed the two music giants rocking the crowd.
