Rapper Y Celeb has kicked off 2026 with a revealing new single titled “Behind The Scenes,” produced by hitmaker Iqon Mu Speaker.
On the hard-hitting track, Y Celeb finally opens up about what led to the breakup of the once-dominant 408 Empire. For the first time, he speaks more about internal conflicts that went far beyond music and fame.
According to the rapper, the group began to fracture when one member allegedly tried to introduce the team to a witchdoctor in a bid to maintain their hit-making streak. Y Celeb says he refused to be part of the practice, a decision that reportedly caused tension within the camp.
He further claims that the same individual influenced other members to push him out of the group because of his refusal, adding that money disputes also played a major role in the collapse of 408 Empire.
With Behind The Scenes, Y Celeb steps away from speculation and puts his truth on record, offering fans a raw look into the personal and professional struggles that ended one of Zambia’s most talked-about music movements.
