We are the “Voice of Sudan” is comprised of two Zambian artistes, MILZ and Ariel with one Germany born artiste called Chin Chillah who once lived in Zambia before. The rest of the artistes are Sudanese (Muna Majdi, WD Alzain, Nile & Moe).
This song was produced during the sit-in of the peaceful revolution in Khartoum/Sudan, before the protest got cracked down and the people got brutally dispersed by the RSF at the dawn of 3rd June 2019 in what became known as Khartoum massacre.
It captures the willpower, determination and hopes of the Sudanese people for freedom and human dignity.
The song and the artists on it express their solidarity with the Sudanese people and support their demands for a civilian government.
All proceeds of this song will be used to support the civilian revolution movement organised by the Alliance for Freedom and Change to uphold the peaceful protests and civil disobedience until the demands of the “Declaration of Freedom and Change” are met.
