Zambian cyphers are rocked with jokes but Pompi shows why he is the best Zambian emcee when he chokes out his melodies [Holstar,C.R.I.$.I.$,K.RY.T.I.C,Chef 187 allowed to argue] .Pompi raps knowledge here. “Better than some American rappers in a language that aint mine/ I guess am one of a kind/ And God is an excellent God and I thought I was hot till I renewed my mind/ musically fit no Mason signs/ and now I got that kiwi shine/ who told you Christians are boring/ I think you better sue them for misinforming/”,Pompi Raps.
Gospel emcee Pompi comes back later on the same cypher rapping “The American dream is given on a silver plate well, here you are lucky if you make plans for dinner/ thinking you a hustler/ try to sell CDs to a starving customer/”. These lines made fellow emcees rejoice when Pompi finished rapping. Pompi raps in English and also switches to vernacular rapping in his native tongue.
The emcees rapped on a soulful guitar driven beat. At the end of the cypher emcees show a glimpse of beatboxing a Hip-Hop element that is not recognised in Zambia.

We quite literally came up on this one accidentally. We randomly ran into an enormous crew of African hip hop artists at a local restaurant in DC (Busboys and Poets to be exact) who were all here for an Arts Exchange sponsored by the US State Department. So we had to organize something. Here is a little improptu cipher featuring heads from Benin, Djibouti, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, and Swaziland, and of course we brought in DC heavyweight Flex Mathews.
