The British-Ghanaian producer, who has produced tracks for Mr. Eazi, WizKid, Burna Boy, Tyler The Creator, Stonebwoy, and Lauryn Hill unveils the first video from his upcoming album. Juls announces his upcoming album, which will be released this summer, with his new single “Chance.” Considered one of the major figures in Afrobeats, the British-Ghanaian fuses R&B, reggae and dancehall alongside Projexx, a big name in Jamaica, and Tay Iwar, one of the main representatives of the alté movement in Nigeria.
Shot in Ghana, the minimalist visual follows a young couple living a pure and idealistic love story in all simplicity. It also features the actress Georgia Curtis, whose choreography reflects the positive vibes that are needed for a healthy love relationship. Juls sings in a sweet voice: “I don’t want to dance, but you put me in a trance. Give me a chance, bad romance in dance. Give me a chance to prove myself, baby, whatever you want. Tell me when you need that love, I need your love.”
