Umusepela Crown has found a creative way to announce his second album and he is doing it with a song instead of the usual press statement.
The rapper has unveiled “Road To ‘STAR WAKUMWESU’ Album,” a unique release that doubles as an album press briefing, revealing key details about his upcoming project, including the release date and featured artists.
Rather than simply dropping a poster or making a traditional announcement, Umusepela Crown uses the new track to communicate the details surrounding “STAR WAKUMWESU,” giving fans an entertaining glimpse into what is coming.
The concept makes the announcement feel like a press briefing only this time, the information is delivered through bars and music. Beyond announcing the album, Umusepela Crown also uses the track as an opportunity to pay homage to two of the artists who have inspired his journey — Macky 2 and Chef 187.
The tribute adds a personal touch to the rollout, showing appreciation for the influence the two heavyweight Zambian rappers have had on his artistry. With “Road To ‘STAR WAKUMWESU’ Album,” Umusepela Crown is proving that even an album announcement can be turned into part of the entertainment.
