theZMBTalks Debuts A Comedy Skit for Zambia’s Independence Day

As Zambia celebrates its 54th Independence Day on October 24th, the ZMB Talks joins the celebrations with a very funny comedy skit as part of our duties to bring people together to build the country.

“54 years ago!! Northern Rhodesia (now known as Zambia) gained independence from Britain. Kenneth Kaunda, the country’s first president, proclaimed one-party rule at independence. . Their independence came four years after the famous speech “The winds of change” by British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan. The country’s independence came ten months after the collapse of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, with Northern Rhodesia becoming the Republic of Zambia.”

From all of us at Zambian Music Blog, Happy Independence Day, Zambia.
