Raised by his mum after losing his father at a tender age, Mic 1 sought inspiration and solace from music; drawing his lyrics from his personal experiences, he was determined to rise above his circumstances to become that rose that grew out of the concrete – by the age of ten, he would make his mark as a dope MC, gaining the reverence of his peers and igniting the ambition and drive to reign supreme.
