Teflon General – Get Right

Teflon General (aka Reign Rega) is an upcoming Rapper and Music Producer from Lusaka, Zambia (Central Southern Africa). He is more than just your typical Hiphop Artist: Tef possesses a versatile Production- and Rap-style that has enabled him to capture a unique sound and vibe that deviates from the average Artist in the Zambian Hiphop Genre.  He has been active on the Zambian Hiphop scene since October 2013 and currently has 3 singles being promoted online and on select local radio stations.

Teflon General came into the game with one goal: to redefine what it means to be an emcee, in addition to creating quality Music that’s in a class of its own and stands the test of time. Tef prides himself in possessing a Lyrical ability that is shared (and matched) by only a hand full of rappers.  His Rap Style is characterized by a combination of Punchlines, Metaphors and witty Word Play.  

He possesses the ability to unleash a Verbal assault of aggressive Lyricism, yet maintains the ability to flip the script to a mellow / more laid back feel when composing R&B records, as is evident in his 2013 release, “Paradise.”

Though a rare occurrence, Teflon General’s versatility is also showcased through his ability to blend English with Bemba and Nyanja, 2 of Zambia’s local languages, when composing his music. This is largely influenced by the fact that he is not fully conversant in these dialects, but rather speaks them on a basic / conversational level.
