Zambian media personality and event host Suecey Chigelo Chaku Kopala paid a powerful tribute to the late King Dandy Krazy during her hosting duties at the Coca-Cola Food Fest 2025, held on May 31st at Showgrounds Main Arena in Lusaka.
The vibrant event featured a #FIRE🔥 line-up of some of Zambia’s hottest acts including Cowboii, Chef 187, Danny Kaya, Chanda Na Kay, Vinchenzo, Xaven, Ndine Emma, and Coop Ticker, and had fans buzzing with excitement and nostalgia.
But what stole hearts was Suecey’s heartfelt homage to the late legend, King Dandy, whose influence on Zambian music remains iconic. Dressed in an all-black ensemble, Suecey rocked a striking painted portrait of King Dandy on the back of her top, adorned with yellow and white ink reading “In Loving Memory.” Her jeans also paid tribute, boldly featuring Dandy’s name and his unforgettable slogans, “Lekefyoo” and “Wawawa.”
On social media, she shared an emotional caption: “HOMAGE TO A LEGEND!🕊️🕊️🕊️ CONTINUE RESTING IN POWER KING DANDY 👑… THANK YOU FOR WALKING SO WE CAN FLY 🕊️🕊️.”
