What makes a likeable song? An atmospheric and captivating Intro, Rich vocal melodies, skillful alignment of the artist’s vocals and instrumental accompaniment, Uniqueness, imaginative lyrics and Catchy chorus. “Sinifuna” is a Zed R&B song performed by R&B sensationTimothy” and produced by Zero DB’s Shom-C”.
Sinifuna starts out with mellow piano keys and Timothy vocalizing, the song has one of the most common song structures, starting out with a verse then chorus (Format: Verse-chorus-verse-chorus-verse-chorus) as expected the instrumental arrangement and vocal alignment is up to par, given the caliber of the producer, but both the composition of the song and instrumental were uninspired.
Taking into consideration that thousands of songs are released monthly and only a small ratio of those make true hits, this song wouldn’t make the minor ratio of hit songs released within the month for me, The artist and producer had more to offer on this project and they both played it too safe, The storyline is quite relatable but the delivery of the subject matter was rather bland.
It isn’t the kind of song I’d regularly have on my playlist because it doesn’t have that appeal to it in comparison with “Fly Away” also performed by Timothy and sees an appearance by DjLo of Ikonik Music.
