Born and Raised in the Ghetto by a single mother, Roy View grew up listening to Reggae Music because it was the type of music that he believed expressed the real life.
His interest in music grew up when he was at Bwaila Secondary School, because he used to do dancehall free styles in class when the teacher was not in.
Roy was encouraged by his class-mates to pursue music as they were impressed by his freestyles and from there an artist was made.
Roy View has recorded many singles and released couple of albums over the years and he has been very instrumental in impacting on the young and old through positive music.
