Pompi becomes the first Zambian gospel artist 7 million streams on boom play

Over the recent past Zambian artists have been doing the most when it comes to setting new milestones on digital streaming platforms like YouTube, Boomplay, Deezer, Spotify and Apple Music.

Just last month Award winning now retired Zambian artist Macky 2 aka King Buga set a new record after becoming the first Zambian artist to hit one million streams in 24 hours on Boomplay. A lot of artists like Jay Rox, Dizmo and Yo Maps to mention a few have over a million streams on the platform.

Now award winning Zambia Musician Pompi has become the first Zambian gospel artist to reach seven million song streams and one million album streams on Boomplay.
