Pompi and Mag44 are nominated in this year’s Vine Awards UG in the category for African Act of the Year alongside other topping acts in Africa namely; Tim Godfrey, Israel Mbonyi and Mr Googz.
Vine Media Group and Platinum Concepts are launching the Vine Entertainment Awards. The annual awards are set to award Christians who have excelled in the entertainment sphere and provide an exciting and entertaining evening for the revelers. The awards are the first of it’s kind to recognize Christian talent not only in music but also in comedy, spoken word, sports and film.
The awards ceremony will take place on 27th March 2020 at Kampala Serena Hotel with the guest performer Florocka alongside other Ugandan Christian Entertainers.
The awards are geared towards celebrating Christians who are extraordinarily impacting there spheres of influence and to encourage other Christians to influence the entertainment space. Arts and media play a big part in influencing social and cultural behavior within society.
Public voting has officially opened at the Vine Website. The public vote constitutes 40% and the award committee members 60%.
