Popular Zambian musician Chama Fumba, known by his stage name Pilato was on Monday arraigned before a Chief Magistrates Court following his arrest at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport on May 16th, 2018, upon arrival from South Africa where he was in self-imposed exile following threats on his life.
Lusaka principal resident magistrate Mwaka Mikalile granted musician and activist – Pilato a K30,000 bail in his own recognizance with two working sureties from reputable organizations and in management positions.
Pilato faced arrest for speaking out on government graft.
