On September 1, 2018 Minister of Justice and Kabwata MP Hon. Given Lubinda through Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) presented to the public the Paul Ngozi Street in honor of the late Zambian musician Paul Ngozi and to also join other late stars that have been named after streets such as Joe Chibangu and Augustine Lungu.
Hon. Given Lubinda was accompanied by ZAM Musicians, residents of Kabwata and the late singer’s son, Paul Ngozi Jr.
The road which is named after late iconic music star is a Kabwata Road which is usually referred to as St. Patrick’s ZAOGA road.
Paul Dobson Nyirongo famously known as Paul Ngozi is one of the early pioneers of Zambian music and one of the most celebrated Zambian entertainers of all-time.
The naming of Paul Ngozi road in Kabwata is commendable and must be celebrated by all Zambians.
