The song was inspired by the words of Jesus Christ our Lord from Matthew 11: 12.• And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent shall take it by force. To suffer is to undergo hardship, to feel pain and to endure. Violence is a force or action intended to cause destruction, pain and suffering.
The above scripture is telling us that since the days of John the Baptist until now (today), the Kingdom of heaven, which is the kingdom of God, has been going through and is still going through hardships and pain. This has been so due to immense persecution that resulted from the preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ During the time when Jesus said these words, John the baptist was in prison after King Herod had arrested him for advancing the kingdom of God and Herod would soon behead him.
The devil is putting up quite a fight to keep the world in spiritual blindness. Evil powers fight against the advancement of the Kingdom of God and some people are determined to infiltrate it in order to take control of it themselves. There are forces of evil which oppose God’s word and His work.
Even today we see violent men working against God and His church. The phrase the violent take it by force means that the decision to enter the Kingdom of heaven requires forceful action and boldness. We need to be bold in prayer, in preaching the word of God, in doing the work of the ministry of the gospel. Even if we encounter persecution, we should endure and persevere for great is our reward in heaven!
So in brief, the song is telling us that the as kingdom Children ,We believe and know that we were Blessed with all Spiritual blessings by God Through Christ Jesus, but it is the devil ,a thief who fights people to live the other way round, so in this song lam saying …all kingdom blessings are taken by force ,eigther devil is liking or not We take then by Force The song also encourages us to be brave and bold in doing God’s work in spite of the opposing forces for us to inherit the Kingdom of heaven. We should keep enduring for our reward is great in heaven.
