New music duo on the block called “KTP” (Katopola), Initially was formed as far back as 1993 by two childhood friends namely, Kingoe Luguru & Owen Akatama, a Rapper and a Singer that made musicĀ using home made banjos and drums. Their stage name “Katopola” pays homage to a Rhodes Park street (Katopola Rd), that two artistsĀ grew up from.
24 years later the duo debuts with an amazing afropop song, Their first song in 2017 and their first studio release Ā – titled “Love Dynamite” produced by Big Bizzy of K-Army Studios.
