K’Millian Confirms “Cry of a Woman” by B’Flow Was Inspired by His Luanshya Breakup

It’s been 13 years since B’Flow dropped the emotional anthem “Cry of a Woman“, featuring Judy Yo. Now, in a surprising revelation, Zambian music legend K’Millian has confirmed that the hit song was based on his real-life relationship struggles in Luanshya.

Posting on his Facebook, K’Millian shared:“Ba Luanshya otherwise alot happened even No More Love by Macky 2 found me in Luanshya and it’s also a true story. Awe nalikapitamo ndimuntufye naine limo ndaluba.”

Roughly translated: “Luanshya was something else — even No More Love by Macky 2 was about that time, and it’s also a true story. I went through a lot, I’m just human, I also lost sometimes.”

While fans have speculated for years about the origins of the tearjerker track, this is the first time K’Millian has publicly linked himself to the story. His candid post has reignited love for the track and sparked nostalgia for Zambian RnB’s golden era.
