Multi award winning artist – King Illest wraps up 2018 by sharing three of his previously released songs with the titles, “Bakalala“, a freestyle effort titled “Milundu” and “Yadilika” featuring Kantu and Dj Cosmo.
Born Mainga Mukando better known by his stage name as King Illest is a Zambian hip hop recording artist/producer. Born in the southern province 1st December 1993 in a small town called Choma, recalls getting his rap influences from Tupac, Jay Z, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg and Kanye west, he started his music journey about 4 years ago he has come to originated his distinctive style of music he calls himself Tonga trap lingo and is dubbed to be called the king of the south as he originated the tonga rap,tonga which is widely spoken in the southern part of Zambia
King illest has opened for big names in the african industry such as aka,cassper nyovest, runtown, dbanj just to mention a few.
King is is multi award winning artist of the kwacha music awards and has been affiliated with an international brand of whiskey ballantines for “TRUE MUSIC CAMPAIGN” this endorsement has unveiled him as an ultimate rap artist and a house hold name.
