Following closely behind is Chile One MrZambia with six nominations, Yo Maps with five, and Chef 187 with four. The competition is fierce this year, with each artist having delivered notable projects over the past year.
Jemax’s nominations showcase his versatility and impact, with his hit song “Mpawi” leading the way. He’s been nominated in the Best Mainstream/Pop Song, Best Hip Hop/Rap Song, and Best Collaboration categories for the track “Mpawi.” In addition, Jemax is up for Most Conscious Song and Album of the Year for The BoogeyMan. His efforts have also earned him a spot in the prestigious Best Artist Male and Song of the Year categories, making him one of the most recognized artists this year.
Chile One MrZambia has equally made waves, earning six nominations. His track “Nayo Nayo” secured nods for Most Conscious Song and Best Afro Fusion/R&B Song, while his collaboration with Tianna on the same track earned him a Best Collaboration nomination. Chile One’s album Boy from Chililand has been recognized in the Album of the Year category, and he’s also up for Best Artist Male and Song of the Year for “So Chabe.”
