Zambian rapper Goddy is an artist with an interesting story. He was born and raised in Lusaka as the first born in a family of 4. Unlike most artists, the first language he could make music in was Nsenga. However he recently dropped a new song this week featuring Chef 187 titled “Mwambo”
But his journey as an artist was not easy as he faced a lot of financial constraints.
Things eventually turned around for the better in 2017 when he was given free recording opportunities by the CEO of Seven Nations. He recorded a number of songs with them until the studio got closed. But through the unique music he had put out, he ultimately got signed to Favour Music, his current label.
Despite all the struggles he faced, Godfrey’s Greatness lies in how he persevered through struggles and disappointments. His music has a unique touch that is unlike any artist you’ve heard of.
