Musician, Clifford Dimba who is popularly known as General Kanene has walked to freedom after police warned and cautioned him on an indecent assault offence.
General Kanene had landed in hot soup after allegedly having forcibly fondled the breasts of a woman in a bar in Makeni.
However, the police had a change of heart after viewing video footage of the incident as captured by Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).
“Due to the twist in the facts involving Clifford Dimba Police have released the suspect after warning and cautioning him for the Offence of Indecent Assault. Investigations in the matter have continued,” said police spokesperson Esther Katongo.
