”New York City Girl” is oddly reminiscent of the storyline in Jealous. Boy meets girl and falls decidedly in love with her, it’s an affair that’s destined for heartbreak. But, in the moment, he urges her to give herself a chance “before [she] leaves for the summertime”.
The new song, “New York City Girl” is the first official single for the year 2020, it serves as a follow up to the release of his highly acclaimed album, “Laughter, Tears & Goosebump.”
