Ellis born Tinache Lucas Tenesse is a Zimbabwean rapper of Mozambican origin. Ellis is a vibrant performer who considers himself quite artistic in bringing to life real issues from a personal and societal perspective through music and challenges the status quo in the music industry by singing genuine message which is relatable and unique.
Ellis can rap in many languages not limited to English, Portuguese, Shona, Sena, Chichewa. After taking a keen interest in writing, rapping in 2008, Ellis was well on his way to a strong discography with over a dozen unreleased projects waiting to be heard. Since 2008, he has released 2 mix tapes: “Truth be told (TBT)” 2013, “Mission Defined” 2014.
After the 2014 release Ellis went underground repurposing his art and learning trends. In late 2023 the skilful rapper resurfaced working on a number of projects promising fireworks and to stay for as long as he can in the industry. Ellis is an ever evolving rapper who has learned to collaborate with fellow artists and continuously engages and opens up to requests of other artist’s invites.
