Don Moen Prays for Rain to End Zambia’s Drought as He Lifts Up Praises to God

multiple award-winning singer and pastor, Don Moen, has expressed his heartfelt prayers for Zambia as the country experiences a severe drought. During his visit for the Love Zambia Festival, Don Moen stated his hope that through united worship and praise to God, rain will fall, bringing relief to the nation. Moen emphasized the power of coming together in faith, believing that divine intervention can end the drought and bless Zambia.

In addition to his prayer for rain, Moen shared a spiritual message with Christians, urging them to present the Gospel in its authentic form. He highlighted that Jesus Christ reached out to society’s most marginalized, like prostitutes and sinners, not by making the Gospel trendy or appealing, but by being real and genuine in His message.

Don Moen is in Zambia for the Love Zambia Festival, a life-changing three-day event organized by the Luis Palau Association in collaboration with the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia and the Council of Churches in Zambia. The festival, running from Friday through Sunday, aims to share messages of hope, faith, and salvation with the Zambian people, particularly those who have not yet encountered Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

The festival features various spiritual teachings, testimonies, prayer sessions, and entertainment, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. A major highlight is the music, with performances from prominent gospel artists like Pompi, Ephraim, Nathan Nyirenda, and a special performance by Don Moen, best known for his song “God Will Make a Way”. The power of music will play a central role in uniting and uplifting those who attend the festival.
