David Kazadi Makes First Public Appearance Since Sex Tape Scandal, Tiktoker offers K50,000 for his famous necktie

Filmmaker David Kazadi has finally broken his silence following the viral sex tape scandal that shook Zambia in July 2025. Appearing live on Director Lanzee Cooper’s TikTok, Kazadi interacted with fans while working on footage for The Icon Zambia Season 2.

During the live session, Kazadi, looking rather unkempt, remained casual and humorous as he addressed comments and suggestions from viewers. When asked about his hair, he quipped, “You guys don’t really like my hair, innit?” Other questions revolved around the viral scandal, such as “Would you marry a two pin?” and “Auction the neckties?” Kazadi’s responses were witty and unbothered: “I’m married to Jesus” and “How much?” respectively.

This TikTok appearance marks Kazadi’s first public engagement since his arrest in Livingstone on July 10th, 2025, and subsequent release on police bond. His previous statement on July 18th had announced his decision to step back from The Icon Zambia to prevent his personal matters from overshadowing the talent show.

Despite the scrutiny, Kazadi remains focused on his creative projects. During the live session, he excitedly announced that his most requested movie, “NATASHA”, will premiere this December. Fans were also teased about the infamous necktie from the scandal, with one commenter jokingly valuing it at 50,000 Kwacha a question Kazadi left humorously open-ended.
