Lusaka, Zambia Multi-award-winning artist Chile One Mr Zambia has once again taken the spotlight, this time with a surprise political campaign song titled “Alebomba Umuntu.”
The release comes as a shock to many fans who didn’t expect the singer to join the political conversation, especially following his friendly rivalry with fellow superstar Yo Maps, who recently dropped a campaign song titled “Aleteka” in support of the UPND government.
Chile One’s latest offering “Alebomba Umuntu” follows a similar path openly showing support for President Hakainde Hichilema and the ruling UPND party.
The record, infused with Chile One’s signature melodic storytelling and socially aware lyrics, praises hardworking leadership and calls for citizens to recognize visible progress being made under the current administration.
While some fans have applauded the singer for “using his voice for the people”, others have questioned his intentions, suggesting that both Chile One and Yo Maps may be blurring the line between music and politics.
