The past few days social media has been buzzing about over Slapdee’s nomination at the Afrimma Awards. Slapdee who has been receiving social media backlash the past 4 days issued a statement of apology to his fans on 12 October 2021 which he later deleted. The rapper also shared that he has asked his management to withdraw his AFRIMMA nomination with immediate effect because what’s winning a trophy when you can’t win the hearts of your own people?.
However this particularly bothered Nexus Music signee, Chef 187 who tweeted “I would rather vote for Cassper Nyovest (tagged along with red flags)”, Chef 187 felt like the fans for Slapedee should have never let it get to that point of not voting for their own dispute him sing for Patriotic Front (PF.)
Uno pulled no punches on his Slapdee’s fans on his tweet but the waves due to rappers unfiltered views on the XYZ Entertainment founder’s business created fire flames against him. In a new tweet the rapper said Fix the fault within you. You can’t keep running to a set of new friends. A dangerous precedent was set the other day Im not sure if you understand.
A Rasta man called Bob Marley said “Run! Run! Run away you can run from everyone but u cant run away from yourself”. Fix the fault within U. you can’t keep running to a set of new friends. A dangerous precedent was set the other day Im not sure by you understand. https://t.co/5cobQmszIO— Wrong Role Modelo (@Chefy187) October 14, 2021
Chef 187 dropped his much anticipated music video for the chat topping record dubbed “Like A Blesser” which is taken off his recent body of work “Bon Appetit.” The record also features gifted vocal sensation and songwriter Towela Kaira who also happens to Uno’s kid sister and label mate who took a whole the hook for a perfect rendition, making the record more attractive..
The well-crafted music video was filmed and directed by sensational videographer, Big Deal Graphix, who did a wonderful placement on the visual while the audio was produced and engineered by Nexus Music in-house talented beatmaker Eazy The Producer who did justice to this soothing groovy beat.
