Bombshell & Yo Maps Earn AFRIMMA 2026 Nominations, Flying Zambia’s Flag

Zambia has another reason to celebrate as two of its biggest music stars, Bombshell and Yo Maps, have been nominated for the 2026 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMMA).

Bombshell has secured a nomination in the Best Female Artist – Southern Africa category, recognizing her consistency, lyrical talent and impact on the region’s music scene.

Meanwhile, award-winning singer Yo Maps has been nominated for Best Male Artist – Southern Africa, adding another prestigious continental recognition to his growing list of achievements.

The nominations are a testament to the continued growth of Zambian music on the African stage, with both artists playing a significant role in promoting the country’s sound beyond its borders.
