Bobby East previously featured on a PF Campaign song called “Sonta Abwelelepo” which also featured his label mates Nez Long, Slapdee and Elisha Long. In the past few months the artist who did campaign song(s) for PF have been receiving social media backlash from their fans and music lover because they didn’t stand with them the time they need them most.
The XYZ Entertainment C.E.O took to social media to send congratulatory remarks to the 7th Republican President of Zambia Mr Hakainde Hichilema on emerging victorious on the 2021 general election however this didn’t settle well with 90% of his fans because he did a song for the outgoing ruling part PF.
But this time around the rapper felt it to address the anger of his fans through a comment via Facebook. Bobby East said he can handle insults and threats and what bothers him a lot is the genuine disappointment from his day one fans who expected better. He further added that, the congratulatory message was honest and despite the foul language against himself he will not delete the comment cause he knew the consequences of his actions before he took them so he will take it like a man.
