In a candid moment shared with fans, Vanilla expressed a mix of emotions, acknowledging the significance of the votes.
Reflecting on his journey to the Grammy stage, Twitter (X) page on Monday, February 5, 2024, to share his sentiments. “I don’t know who exactly “The academy “ is ,but they need to get some African voters in that afrobeats category real quick before they piss off a bunch of people.Otherwise they will only vote for the version of our culture that suits their palate,” he wrote, capturing the bittersweet nature of the moment.
