South African recording duo, Blaq Diamond, has emerged victorious in their legal battle against their former label, Ambitiouz Entertainment.
The duo had signed out of their contract with the label earlier in 2022, and subsequently faced challenges when trying to release new music independently. Ambitiouz Entertainment claimed ownership of the songs and issued copyright takedown notices. In response, Blaq Diamond took legal action against the label.
The recent court ruling in favor of Blaq Diamond marks a significant milestone in their career, allowing them to continue pursuing their musical aspirations free from the constraints of their former label.
