Just a few weeks have passed since B Flow released his 14 Track Voiceless Woman Album (available in all sound stores across Zambia) which talks about Gender Based Violence, Prevention Against HIV/AIDS, Infidelity and Child Abuse. B Flow is one of the Zambian Celebrities that SHARe/USAID has appointed as its Brand Ambassadors in the fight Against Hiv/Aids, the new appointed ambassadors includes Maiko Zulu, Mwine Mushi, Kasaka, Macky2, Kings Malembe Malembe,Mai Ziye,Papa Bruno, Liseli Sisters and Zindaba (Miss Zambia)
This newly appointed ambassadors are now undergoing training at Fringila in Lusaka which will only last two weeks. B Flow recently posted this on his Facebook page “We’ll miss our homes but it’s fun here. Chant it on! Boom. Am humbled to be appointed as a USAID/SHARe ambassador against HIV together with Macky2,Kings Malembe2,Maiko Zulu,kasaka,Mwine Mushi,Sister D, Zindaba (Miss Zambia), Liseli sisters & Papa Bruno”. We are learning a lot here at fringila for the next 2 weeks. MAY I SHARE WITH YOU? About 1.5million Zambians are living with HIV, and only about 300,000 are on ARVs. HIV is real. Let’s prevent HIV by being responsible and taking precautions. The youths are at higher risk. About 70% of new infections are in the age group 15 – 24 yrs, this is sad. In adults,there are about 226 new infections DAILY in Zambia, awe this is bad guys, let’s prevent HIV. Prevention is cheaper than treatment as it is free of charge. According to the last survey of 2009, Zambia has about 690,000 AIDS orphans,oh my Zambia. I personally as B’Flow hereby pledge to help my country in the fight against HIV,what about u? Chant it on!”
