Angela Nyirenda scoops herself an award at the Stanbic Anakazi Banking awards “ women in arts “ at the Gala Dinner awards which was held in Lusaka.
Angela Nyirenda was among the 15 women from various sectors who were recognized at the Stanbic to mention but a few , agriculture , manufacturing, infrastructure, mining, sport, arts ,Media, entrepreneurship and community.
The Anakazi Banking recognition awards were presented to various women by honorable Brenda Tambatamba who was representing the Vice President of the republic of Zambia and the special guest present Deputy Governor ,Administration at the central Bank Ms Rekha Mhango. She urged all women who who were awarded in various activities to use the opportunity and position themselves as themselves as the new face of wealth.
Angela Nyirenda was not the only woman who was recognized at the Gala Dinner awards but also other women including Barbra Banda who scooped sports personality award, Charity Machii Chewe was awarded tourism award, infrastructure award was given to Irredie Watson Mkandawire, Effatch Jele bagged the women in agriculture award, Melisa Holmes Shamel triumph the entrepreneur award, Mazyanga Lucy was awarded the health award , the media personality award was presented to Mbuumba Delly Chimbulu, Innovation award was offered to Mafunasi Mulenga while the lifetime achievement award was scooped by Angela Miyanda, community award By Maligose Chipeta, Green award was received by Maanda Elizabeth Sianga, The women in manufacturing award was bagged by Chama Bwalya and finally the Anakazi of the year chairman award was presented to Catherine Mulauzi.
