With evident progress both as an artist and also as a man, B’Flow may have moved levels from where he was three years ago until last weekend when he performed ‘Atshani’ smash hit at a Night Club located in his former hood’ which made him reminisce about the olden days.
So we are here, countless awards later, an affiliation with the ex-US president Barack Obama, countless ambassadorial positions and of course his voice and his quest to bring change has been even more effective. Thanks to his music for change initiative and while at it, B’flow has not performed at a Night club since 2015, saying that his music has naturally grown demand at corporate events but his latest hit has revived the star with a tremendous success at clubs and the streets nationwide.
Give us a club anthem imwe! I didn’t even have to sing coz my fans can do that!!! pic.twitter.com/6O4bI9iuRO

The star has revealed how his former event organizers lamented their inability to pay him his current charge which they assumed is way higher than before. He goes on to express himself saying he has learnt that as a brand grows a lot of changes occur and one might lose an important part of a business, and he is still trying to balance the equation as he acknowledges he is a product of the ghetto.
I have not performed in a club since 2015. Doing corporate events almost happened naturally, owing to the growing demand for my music in the corporate space. I did not plan to abandon my fans out there. This Ati Shani song took me back to the club last night & my fans loved it.

It made me realize just how much they have missed me.

The funny thing is that these days when I meet most of the people who used to organise my club events, they say “Your fans miss watching your performances but we know that we can no longer afford to hire you because your fee is obviously way higher than it used to be”

The lesson I’m learning from all this is that when your brand grows, a lot of changes occur and you might lose an important part of your business. I’m trying to figure out a way of balancing the equation because in as much as the brand is growing, I’m a product of the ghetto.
