The Self Acclaimed Chairman of Africa rap
music M.I has shared a tale with his fans and critics alike about his rise to his present level.
M.I was on Dream 92.5FM, where he chose to spend some time with few hours leading to the Star Music Trek concert in Enugu on Saturday.
The Chairman M.I said that during his struggle, he had to take up the job of Personal Assistant to popular artiste, Jeremiah Gyang; while on the job, he met Waje and Djinee for the first time in Enugu.
The touching part of M.I’s story was when he revealed that he went as low as to even washing toilets to make ends meet in the United States. Thats not all, M.I rushed back to Nigeria thinking things would be better but still had to work even harder back here; he worked as a waiter at a popular cafe in Jos.
According to M.I “I’m really proud of these indigenous art forms and it’s a blessing for me to be a part of an industry that has notable artistes such as Olamide, Phyno, Mr Raw and others in it.
This is the future of great music in Nigeria,”he added.
M.I is recording a new single with Ebenezer Obey and Jesse Jagz is on the one tools.
