“As Always, the election race has been a tough and challenging one and we have once again seen so many things happening during this period. Finally, we have come thus far.”
However long the tunnel might be, there is still light at the end of it and every night might prolong the darkness but a morning is always waiting to show up. Every journey begins with a step regardless of the length.
As Always, the election race has been a tough and challenging one and we have once again seen so many things happening during this period. Finally, we have come thus far.
We all have done alot for our beloved Zambia as we passed through one of delicate moments in the entire history of a country and our individual efforts have brought us to this side of a picnic.
We have now elected the President and it’s now our duty to embrace the outcome as given by God and fully abide by activities that promote oneness.
One of the hard things at such times as this, is accepting the announced results. This goes both ways starting with competitors and finishing with supporters. May God give us the heart to accept the results and begin to support the winners.,
All those who participated in the election were capable individuals who are children of Zambia as well and have a great role as far as development is concerned. There is always one winner at a time and let us abide to the rules that govern our beloved country.
As a nation, we are stronger together and we believe in each other. Opposition candidates; you are strong children of Zambia and you have your part, it’s time to move in and stay behind the development of this country.
So many things have been said and done during the campaign period. It’s time to forgive each other where we stepped on each other’s toes. Wounds do heal and as a nation of peace let’s let go and rebrand ourselves as a better people.
As a nation, we are thankful to God for giving us politicians who fear God, and both the elected President and the opposition have shown fear and respect for God and let’s allow that to grow even more.
Violence has never been a solution to any God fearing people and we know that much is destroyed when we focus on violence as a perverted solution. Let’s not destroy what has taken us too many years to build.
It’s time for all of us to uniformly congratulate our newly elected President, Councilors, Mayors and MPs and give them all the support they need to develop together this country to God’s glory. We might not have voted for them but they are Zambians and so are we. Let’s bury Race, Tribe and regions, and let’s plant and grow unity, peace and love. Remember always its “One Zambia, One Nation”
To the elected: ‘it’s not over until it’s over’. The race is not to the swift nor the battle to the might, but time and chances happen to them all and Grace is not a right. Forgiveness should come from you as well, as you will be taking this torch again for the next election. It’s time to forget yesterday and forge ahead. Forgive and forget to God’s glory.
Thanks to every Zambian who took time to contribute tireless efforts that have led to the success of this election. The good thing is that there is only one Zambia in the whole world and we can always shine as a peace loving nation. Together we stand, divided we fall. God bless our country Zambia to your glory
