Saturday 5th December saw the evolution of Zambian music. The first ever Double Album Launch by Kaladoshas and Cleo Ice queen was one of the most if not the most well organized event of 2015.
It was officiated by the Honorable Minister of Youth and sports Mr. Vincent Mwale and graced also by the President of the Zambian Association of Musicians Mr Njoya T. It kicked off with Kaladoshas on stage entertaining the crowd with his amazing vocal ability; performing his hit single Cocoa Butter and going on to call Mic Burner and Bombshell Grenade for their “They Don’t Know” performance.
Kaladoshas closed his set with Shom C produced hit “Nipaseko Chance”.
The ever beautiful Cleo Ice Queen and arguably Zambia’s biggest female entertainer of 2015 amazed the crowd as she appeared from the audience calling up Urban Hype to perform her newly released Turn Up single. She later called Salma Sky and closed with JK featured Big Dreams (Nalaliwisha).
The double launch was held at Lusaka Grand Hotel, hosted by K-Army CEO Killer Beats (KB), music by Sound Wave and music control by Zambia’s number one Superstar DJ Hussein. The two albums have been declared hits and surely will win awards next year. We hope to see what Kaladoshas and Cleo Ice Queen have to offer for 2016!
