Sometimes, you do everything you can to change your life, but the breakthrough still feels far away. Zambian rapper Drifta Trek captures that struggle in his latest release, “Nshaye,” featuring Chile Breezy.
On the record, Drifta Trek turns to God with a heartfelt plea for blessings and a breakthrough, reflecting on the frustration of working hard but still facing one challenge after another.
In “Nshaye,” Drifta Trek opens up about trying to make things work on his own while watching others make progress in life. He asks God to remember him too and give him an opportunity to experience the blessings and success he has been praying for.
The song carries a relatable message for anyone who feels their efforts are not paying off despite their determination to succeed. Through his plea, Drifta Trek expresses hope that his situation will change and trusts that his time for a breakthrough will eventually come.
Chile Breezy joins him on the record, helping bring the song’s message to life, while the official music video was directed by Fanwell.
