Renowned Zambian artist, producer, and visionary Mag44 is set to release his latest single “Over You” across all major streaming platforms. The deeply personal track is accompanied by an official music video. “Over You” is a heartfelt exploration of heartbreak and the emotional aftermath of a relationship’s end.
Fusing nostalgic and contemporary sounds, Mag44 pays tribute to Zambian music pioneers P.K. Chishala and Victor Kachaka, blending the distorted guitars of Zamrock, the infectious log drums of Amapiano, and a modern Hip Hop bounce creating a soundscape that’s both timeless and progressive. “It’s about that space where you’re not quite over them, but pretending you are. I produced this track from that vulnerable place,” Mag44 shares.
