Wyclif Mwamba Dedicates Upcoming Movie “Contravene” to Late Producer Cream Dollar

Multi-talented Zambian creative Wyclif Mwamba, known for his work as a film writer, director, producer, actor, and comedian has announced the premiere of his upcoming movie titled “Contravene”, set to debut on 31st May 2025 at Levy Cinemas.

The film holds a deeply personal meaning, as Mwamba reveals it is a dedication to his late friend and brother, Cream Dollar, a renowned Zambian music producer and songwriter who passed away on April 19, 2020, after battling ulcers.

Cream Dollar was a musical genius whose impact on the Zambian music industry remains unmatched. He worked with numerous top artists and penned hits for several musicians, including the legendary rapper Macky 2.

“Contravene” stars acclaimed actors Hellen Kaumba and Kausa Mbasela, bringing compelling storytelling and strong performances to the big screen. While the plot remains under wraps, the film is expected to tackle powerful themes with emotional depth, much like Mwamba’s previous works.
