Bob Marley and The Wailers collaborate with Sarkodie on a new version of the evergreen song, “Stir It Up.” All the way from Ghana, Sarkodie puts Africa on the map with his mega verses and vocals on Bob Marley and The Wailers’ smash record.
Following his contribution to the song, Sarkodie wrote, “One of the highest moments in my career/Life… such a blessing to lay my vocals right next to the original vocals of the legend.”
In addition, Sarkodie’s version of the song, “Stir It Up,” was produced by Ghanaian beatsmith MOG Beatz and Bob Marley and The Wailers. “Stir It Up” is a song composed by Bob Marley in 1967 and first recorded by the group Bob Marley and the Wailers that year and issued as a single.
The following year, Marley and the Wailers re-recorded the song for their album Catch a Fire.
