Nine year old Kira Haabazoka has broken 3 National records at this year’s National Age Group swimming Championship.
Haabazoka who scooped a total of 7 Gold medals in all her races which include, Back stroke 50 and 100m, Fly 50 and 100m, Freestyle 100 and 200m.
In the Fly stroke the 9 year old has recorded the National record in both 50m and 100m with the times of 40.80 second from 41.18 and 1 minute 34 beating last year’s record of 1 minute 36 seconds respectively.
She has also recorded another National record in 50m backstroke with the time of 43.80 seconds.
Her Coach Adrian Sikaonga has applauded the girl’s performance adding that the future of swimming in the country is bright.
