Copperbelt based artist Mwaba Mulenga populary known as Nice M of the Nganaponena song firm was released from prison on 20th April, 2020 after his arrest in 2016 for two counts of burglary theft and with the other one for house breaking and theft.
On 23rd December, 2016. The Ndola Magistrates’ Court sentenced him to five years imprisonment with hard labor on three counts of theft and was held at Ndola’s Kansenshi prison.
However Nice M continued dropping songs while in prison, Speaking with the ZMB via a phone conversation he said, “I want to continue from where I left off and I will be working on new music that i will send to you soon” and expressed his devastation by the passing on of Cream Dollar who produced almost all his songs including his smashing hit ‘Nganaponena‘, he said ‘am sad i just got out of prison to a funeral of someone that really believed in me, nachibipa sana bamudala‘.
